Anyone know where I can get some fake jelly beans?

I am an interior designer and doing a children's hair salon called Jelly Beans for Kids. Wanting to do some great things with jellybeans but they have to be plastic or maybe rubber? If not any ideas of something else I might use and where to get them???

Anyone know where I can get some fake jelly beans?

I can't think of anywhere to buy fake jelly beans, but they'd be very easy to make. Just buy some Sculpey (the kind that bakes in the oven) form it into jellybean shapes and paint them after they've cooked

you can purchase Sculpey at most craft stores and possibly even Wal-Mart

hope that helped! =)

Real jelly beans will last for years, and won't hurt a kid who picks one off and eats it.

Anyone know where I can get some fake jelly beans?

Maybe Spencer's if they don't have something dirty written on them

.Also you could make them.Take in roll up a very small piece of Reynolds wrap then put paper mache over it.Let it dry then color two coats of bright Easter colors on it.

You could even make a rabbit, just shape it into a rabbit .Also you can even make bigger Easter eggs .Take a balloon and blow it up.Take and put paper mache all over it .A couple layers .Then let it dry pop the balloon with a thin needle, and then paint it

You can get the recipe for paper mache on the Internet. You will need newspaper so start saving it.You can use other paper but it could become expensive

Last easter I bought plastic jelly beans (Like the plastic easter eggs) at Dollar Tree. Then I filled them with goodies for the kids.

Devil Wears Prada?

I think we have all been there. I had a boss similar to the one in the movie. I thought it would be fun to share some stories of these nightmare bosses...

Mine actually told me to babysit her kids. She dropped them off and went to a meeting. They had no discipline and I still had work to do. I let them do WHATEVER they wanted just so I could get my work done. She came back to my hair filled with tape and her kids watching a DVD on my laptop. Anyone have a similar story. Yelling at you to go get her some lunch, telling you how to dress???

Devil Wears Prada?

Oh yeah...I had a boss or two like that. This one guy was a real winner...old 60's dude about 200 pounds of fat...was taking martial arts and tried to intimidate and impress me with his kicking of things..haha but he was a butthead and made my life a bit miserable..

Devil Wears Prada?

No, I'm the boss. No Prada but I appreciate those that support me in an emergency.

Devil Wears Prada?

Not exactly, but hey,was the movie good??? please answer i dont no if i shouyld see it

Devil Wears Prada?

omg not as extreme as in the movie but like woah i work at a barn and to get the jobs done we need at least three people liek its uber improtant to have three people and no one elese shows up but me and she made me work all by my self all day and went out doing errands and i was there by my self!!!

Devil Wears Prada?

if you are no t happy, try to find another job..

Im a boy, but people think I look like a girl?

Sometimes people think Im a girl when they see me from behind. How should I react? Should I be offended and angry? Because Im kinda indifferent to it since Im used to it. Its most likely because of my long hair. Im 17 now and had long hair since I was a younger kid, and usually wore it in a pony tail until I met my current boyfriend Darren who charmed me into wearing it down more often since he likes it. Im never ever getting it cut. Me and him went to the Taste of Chicago this weekend and I heard this guy say "I thought that was a girl". People also confuse me for a girl since my man Darren looks straight and is super masculine, so when we are together they think Im his girl.

Im a boy, but people think I look like a girl?

Well if you don't want to cut your hair, you can expect people to think you're a girl. And what male says to another male "I like your hair down"????

Im a boy, but people think I look like a girl?

A kind response is always better than an angry one when someone makes an understandable mistake.

Im a boy, but people think I look like a girl?

As a man, when I had long hair, I used to love it when guys would come into the bathroom, see my long hair and then freak out and walk back out, only to timidly come back in when they realized it really was the men's room. Don't sweat it, just be you.

Im a boy, but people think I look like a girl?

Do you think you look like a girl? Do you wear your hair like a girl? Do you wear girl clothes? Do you walk like a girl? Do you talk like a girl? Do you wish you were a girl when your boyfriend is kissing you? If so, then maybe you're a transgender.

You say that you're use to it, so does it really bother you? Sounds like your boyfriend likes boys who look like girls anyway. Maybe he's ashamed that you're a boy.

Im a boy, but people think I look like a girl?

people in chicago are always like is he a she?

haha...it happens so much in chicago seriously lol..but dont take it badly your probably cute cause all the boys who i knew that looked like girls were always cute.

Im a boy, but people think I look like a girl?

Then change your appearance for a more "manly" look. Also the way you may carry yourself can cause confused judgements about you. Otherwise, don't get in trouble and wind up in prison. Pretty men become sex slaves there.

Can I grow somemore?

I justed turned 19 and have grown like an almost 3/4 of an inch in the past year. However my growth as always kind of been steady, during my growth spurt I grew a little over 2 inches. I grew almost 3/4 of an inch since last year. Can I push out 5'11 1/2-6'0. My voice started cracking a year ago, and I have light facial hair, and chest hair starting to appear last year. I seem less developed then other kids in my opnion

Mom 5'4 1/2

Dad 6 feet

grandfather 6 feet

grandfather 6 feet

grandma 5'6 1/2

grandma 5'3, her father was 6'2, but her mom was 4'11

2 of my dads brothers are over 6 feet, one is 6'3, the other one is 5'11. my dad grandfather was 6'3-6'4.

I am 5'9 1/2, I was a little under 5'9 last year. I got to atleast reach 5'10, I mean come on.

Can I grow somemore?

I'm 5'6" and my dad is 4'11". My grandfather was 6'7". ANYTHING is possible!

My 4-year-old lost confidence?

So I dyed my 4-year old son's hair blue last night. He was ALL about it, way excited, loved the idea, etc. All of the people in my household (we live in a two-family type deal where we share a bathroom and kitchen) were way supportive and whatnot.

So anyway, his hair looks awesome and he was so excited to show it off at school - until we got there. When we got there he put his hood on his sweathshirt up and when his teachers were saying "Oh wow Jonas how cool, your hair is blue!" he got all shy and nervous and quiet. It's like he instantly lost his confidence when he entered a public place.

I should mention he's actually really popular at school, one of the smartest kids in class, gets along well with all the kids, has no issues.

Why would he just lose his confidence like that? Is it normal for kids so young to recognize peer pressure or society being judgemental?

My 4-year-old lost confidence?

this is totally normal - kids really like to fit in - we often have charity days called comic relief in the UK where the children in the school all do something daft like dye their hair for the day for a small sum to contribute for charity - when all the kids turn up with dyed hair its the ones how do not and have forgotten that act all shy and reserved - because they stand out! Its hard being a trend setter when you are 4! Think back to when you were a child - usually its much later you rebel and want to stamp your personality on the world - most kids want to belong and blend in with crowd - I'm not saying that Jonas is not a confident kid but your guess of peer pressure etc is spot on - incred strong at that age.

My 4-year-old lost confidence?

I think it maybe occurred to him how ridiculous it is to have Blue hair. Or maybe he was embarassed that someone let him do this.

My 4-year-old lost confidence?

Kids know "different" when they see it, and he knows that on an instinctive level even if he doesn't know it consciously. He clearly decided it was a big risk, and got scared. It's pure instinct, and little else. Next time, try just a lock or two of blue (or other color) hair; for now, get it out of his hair as soon as possible.

A couple of things to point out here. The mother has put the kid together so that he kind of looks like her. Also, just because your kid is smart and in a spelling bee, do you have to comb his hair like that can't? Does he have to wear a Dilbert shirt (looks like he should have a pocket protector)?

Listen, homeschool parents - maybe you ought to take some time out to teach your kids social skills and make them well-rounded and not just hyper advanced in their academics. I am all for people teaching their kids to be ahead of the curve, but there are people out there who are ahead of the curve in academics, and also play a sport and [gasp] go to a movie now and again with a girl.........

Is this kid dysfunctional?

I watched this young man on the TV this morning as well. Within about a minute I had him pegged. I have known other people who are just like he is. The problem is that he is suffering from extreme intelligence! Often these people appear retarded to the rest of us. They just are not the same. Many of them are not very clean. It just isn't important to them. They don't care about what they look like. They never quite fit in and they don't care to either. Its just the way they are. Is he dysfunctional, not in the typical way.

Is this kid dysfunctional?

Aw, I know what you mean. Its kind of sad, parents that pushes their children to accomplish excessively like this gives me the impression that these children were never children once.

Is this kid dysfunctional?

now i can see parents pushing for good grades and such when its a class that will possibly make your child more money in the future. but i cant think of the ocasion that it would be helpful to know the polish word for a polish folk dance. i just realy dont see that coming in handy on wall st.

Is this kid dysfunctional?

You are being unfair and judgmental. I have 5 kids and they all like to dress differently and they all are different academically. My 13 year old is great athlete and has been said one of the best soccer players in the area yet he loves the disovery channel and science. He prefer not wear pants that show his backside or have long hair like the other kids on his own team. Guess what he was homeschooled for a year and loved it and was still very social. I was the one who didnt like homeschooling, my kids loved it and learned alot but it just was not for me. I admire those parents who do sacrifice alot to homeschool is clearly this child is getting a good education. I do have friends who homeschool whose kids are not socialized but what this kid wears should say nothing about his socialization skills. Alot of PS kids dress exactly like him and comb there hair like he does. I think many are just jealous because homeschool kids keep winning. I am not saying it is right for everyone or every child but there are many homeschooled children out there that are socially and academically acceptable. My kids go to public school and they dont have girlfriends yet, go to the movies now and then like a couple of times a year but not with girls. 2 of my kids play sports year round 2 don't, and btw when my boys do start liking girls they will have to be older then this child was that one the spelling be to actually date her. So I guess since what you are saying is 2 of my kids lol have not social skills according to your theory. One thing I lastly want to say....take some time and spend it at a homeschool group activity ....ask the parents to all leave and you alone are with these kids....more of them then not will show you the utmost respect...go to PS and be a sub....you will see more then not the utmost disrespect.

it must be nice to worry about nothing else but that get a life

Can I grow to 5'11=6'0?

It really depends on your genes.

I do know that guys reach the end of puberty at 21 while girl do at 18... So YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO GROW.

I know your a guy and this is important to you but worry more about other things that will help you in life other than your height..

I wish i was taller too but I'm done growing... So i just have to deal with being 5'2 (as a girl) hehe :D

Can I grow to 5'11=6'0?

yah man of course. Genetic stuff is usually passed down everyother generation and seeing both ur grandfathers are/were 6 ft theres a great chance you could get that tall or taller. And it seems ur body is just developing a little later than other peoples. So just dont worry about it cause theres not much u can do but wait.

hope that helps

Can I grow to 5'11=6'0?

Im not sure how us giving our opinions is gonna help you. Either you will or you won't; we dont have much to do with it. :)

:(

Can I grow to 5'11=6'0?

you could man but genetics sometimes don't mean much.My dad is 5'9 and my mum is 5'4 but i'm 6'3 and i'm not even 17 yet

Can I grow to 5'11=6'0?

Even though family is a major contributor to height there are many environment things that affect height. My bf is 6ft3 but his dad and mom are more in the 5ft7 range. Stress can cause a child to have delayed growth spurt or no growth spurt at all. Nutrition is another big thing too, if a child is not eating healthy enough then there growth can be affected as well. Guys usually stop growing between the ages of 20 and 24. Girls usually stop growing between 16 and 19 (bummer for us). I'm pretty sure you can grow a little more. My bf was 16 when we met and he was 6ft1 now at age 21 he is close to 6ft3.
