The show idea was similar to "Step by Step." Two divorcee's get married. The husband is a teacher. They have several kids between them. The husband was shorter than the wife, and had curly hair. The wife was tall and had dark hair. Anyone remember this one?

Sounds like the one with Suzanne Somers and Patrick Duffy except he was a carpenter and maybe a shop teacher. She was also a blond.

This was such an original concept that I wonder why it is so hard to remember...
