I'm 15 years old, where should/can I work?

My friends and I are all around 15 years old, sophomores in high school, and we want to get jobs. There's a new Target opening up near our houses and we're pretty sure that's where we wanna be, but do they hire kids? Also, what do they think of piercings and colored hair? We all have two piercings on our bottom lips and their hair is black, but mine is black with like 3 big blonde highlights (i'm a guy so it's different).

I guess we're ok if we have to wear retainers and I'll be ok if I have to make my hair all black or back to brown, but is it necessary at all? At another Target in my town, a lot of the employees have snakebites (lip piercings) and some ear stretchers and don't wear retainers. It's just a part time job of course so it's nothing serious, but what's the interview and stuff like? what am I gonna have to say?

Oh and what other places would hire kids our age? We also have Wal-Mart and a mall and other stuff (I live in Palmdale, CA btw).

You really should mention which state abd countrie you are in for how old you have to be, it is different everywhere.

All black hair would probably be a good idea for the interview and the probationary period, as would leaving your lip ring at home. You need to give a good first impression until you have shown you can be a good employee, if you go punk again after the training and probabtion they probably won't fire you. (but i think i may have been fired from a job for lookig too weird, but they wouldn't tell me that was why.)

If it's any clue for you i just got a book from the library on how to do well in interviews and it is called "leave your nose ring at home". Given you are a bloke, it may even be a good idea to take your earings our for the interview, or at least whear very conservative ones.
