How does your day go?
This answer is a lot longer than what I expected it to be! Ha ha!
6:00 husband gets up for work and gets dressed, makes coffee, makes (pancakes usually) for everyone.
7:00 I get up with baby to feed.
7:05 7 yr old alarm goes off. He gets dressed and snuggles with me and baby until breakfast is ready. At the same time 2 yr old wakes up screaming and is hungry. She tries picking the dogs nose. Dog just looks at her funny.
7:10 we all eat. Me slowly because i am still breast feeding the baby.
7:20 We are all done eating. Husband makes sure baby is changed I get 2 yr old changed. Get coffee for myself, make sippy cup, get dog on leash and load into the van.
7:30-7:35 (depending on how long it took to load up) we pick up the carpool kids.
7:40 we drop kids off at school.
8:00 We are on our way to pick up my moms dog who we watch during the day.
8:30 We are on our way to drop off Husband at work.
9:00 He is at work. We turn around to come home.
9:30 we get home. I attempt to start making lunch. 2 yr old wants candy. She throws a fit. She wants to watch a movie and throws a fit. She gets neither.
10:00 I get lunch started. While lunch is cooking I check emails and do some work (I work from home). Feed baby some yams this time.
11:00 Lunch is handed out. We eat. Baby goes down to sleep for a few hours.
11:30 2 yr old goes outside to play with bunny and dogs. I am on internet having some me time or working. (For those who are wondering- I can see and hear 2 yr old from computer-small house and the porch is gated off so no one can escape!)
12:00 I put on a cartoon and pull out the coloring book.
12:45 I clean up crayons and turn off tv. Depending on how fussy 2 yr old is, I will put her down for a nap or she will play with toys, all the while I am either catching up on house or playing on computer (like I am doing now), or playing with her. Just depends on what got done earlier in the day and earlier in the week.
1:00 2 yr old will be hungry again. I give her left over lunch and a fruit or yogurt if she wants, then some candy.
1-2:30 I do whatever. Usually 2 yr old has made it clear if she is going to be calm or mad for the day. So, we'll play or clean house together. Again, depending on what has already got done and what hasn't. SOmetimes I give the little ones baths at this time.
2:30-2:45 We (2 dogs, 2 kids, and me) load up in the car to get 7 yr old. We wait in the line to pick him up with the carpool kids.
3:15 We drop carpool kids off.
3:20 We are home. We eat a light snack, do homework, clean up toys. Baby is hungry by now. Feed baby breast.
4:30 We load back into the car to go pick up Husband from work.
5:00 We pick up husband.
5:30 We are home. Bathe, cook dinner, eat dinner.
Now depending on what day it is-is the rest of the story.
Mondays, we stay home for the rest of the evening. Kids go to bed at (2 yr old) 7:00 and (7 yr old) 8:00 after we all pray and brush teeth. Baby goes down just before we do around 10.
Tuesdays, after picking up Husband, we go to his parents house. We used to help run a recovery group with his father but have post-poned it till January. Anyway, we have dinner with them and leave around 8:00. Then we pray, brush teeth and go to bed.
Wednesdays, after picking up Husband, we grab some fast food and go to church. He plays in band I help in Childrens Ministry. Kids get to play with other kids and do homework while we are there. We get home really late, 9:30. Kids pass out in the car so we try to pray on our way home, and sad to say, sometimes teeth don't get brushed.
Thursdays, we will sometimes stay home, sometimes, go to Recovery Group at our Church. It starts at 8:00 pm and usually only one of us goes, so whoever that is will leave around 7:30. We help lead some nights, and some nights we are there to listen. It's a Bible Study group for all types of overcomers. Drugs, porn, sex, alcohol, work etc.... Whoever goes will get home around 9:30 or later, while the other one will have put the kids to bed etc.
Fridays, we usually have reserved as home day. We try to stay home and spend time together.
Saturdays, we try to do stuff outside the whole day. Wash the car (if the weather is ok), garden, go to parks, go to friends house sometimes, whatever.
Sundays, we wake up around 7:30 or 8:00, make breakfast for everyone, eat, get dressed and get to church by 9:30. We have meetings and band practice until 1-4 pm depending on the day and then go home and clean ourselves and the house and spend the rest of the day with eachother.
Of course, this is an average day. Sometimes things happen and we change our schedule, but that is the regular.
That was interesting to see what others do. Kuddos on the question.
