Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

lol i know this sounds really odd but ya i m just wondering cause of the hair... cause asian singers (korean) have straight hair like this (kinda like emos do)

except they dont wear super tight emo pants lol

except asian guys look 20000000000000000% more hotter.

So did this whole scene thing originate from a person trying to copy a asian band?

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

i dont think its emo as much as it is scene kids theres a difference between the two.I dont think they try to rip off of asian bands as much as it is the culture.

Scene fashion is based on decora and japanese street fashion but its not as extreme.Same thing goes for liking childish things like Hello Kitty,Gloomy Bears, tokidoki etc.(Not gonna lie I love all those things)

first!

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

no i think they are just stupid..

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

no. i'm a scene part-asian. its not really anything to do with that. its a style choice made by both asians and (to use your word) "emos"

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

hah. lol Probably?? =) Can you check out my questions? No one is answering them! 10 points wasted! =(

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

i have never seen american or european ppl copying asian fashion before.

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

no they dont, there just themselves, they arent copying anyone, there just being who they are... and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE ISNT EMO!

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

First off dont call MCR emo.

Theyre not emo =]

And scene and emo are slightly different.

But i think emo hair is similar to asians. I think some asians have naturally emo hair.

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

It's quite possible with the whole globalization thing going on in the world. We take from them, they take from us. It's natural nowadays so I wouldn't doubt it. I never really thought of it so good question =)

I have never heard of 'emo' kids coping Asian bands.

And anyways nothing is really original so why does it really matter if they did do it first or not.

They might have even taken if from somewhere else.

Kids who dress or have hair or take pictures like that are trying to copy Asian bands.

It just a style.

Don't call MCR emo.

And there is a big differs between what you call 'emo' and scene. And I mean big.

I would say im scene, and I have never once looked at an Asian band, or people to get my hair, and not all scene kids like certain cute things, and maybe because we played pokemon when we were little, you cant tell me you dont play things you once did when you were little.

The only thing Americans take from Asian people is the anime thing, and the bright colorful things with black crazy clothing, more like goth if you ask me.

Do scene kids try to copy asian bands?

Everyone has their own styles.

Alot of "scene kids' get their style from alot of things. %26amp; the asian culture is involved. etc. Hello kitty, Japan, chop sticks, and heaps of other asian things. I think they take a part of Asian Styles [rep] lol %26amp; try to turn it in their own i guess.

I think asian band is one of the factors, but many more things.

Hope i helped :]

First, the emo scene, Wapanese, and MCR are all different areas, not related either.

But your answer to the "whole scene thing" originating from a person trying to copy an asian band is no. The emo scene supposively has its roots in the punk movement as teenagers continue the search for independence from the mainstream.

Japanese has more of an influence on the goth culture, being things like Japanese street fashion, and even on the "anime" culture that has been growing rapidly. Korean, however, I'm fairly sure it has no place in the emo scene in terms of influnece.

As for bands like My Chemical Romance leading the wave of emo, according to their frontman, they are no longer emo and have changed their music style as well to accompany thing change. I believe that their music and bands like them have drawn influence and inspiration more from the British culture and bands, such as Pink Floyd and Queen.

Some asian kids have natural 'emo' hair, and some of em style their hair so as to look like their idols such as MCR. So in this case i dont think either group is 'copying' each other's style. Scene kids like to follow their idols or others whom they've seen with the particular style whereas real 'emos' have their own dark and dreary style. This oughta sort things out :D

P.S The word emo is not to be misused. You cant look emo, you have to naturally be emo.

You might be on to something, there's a few similarities
