Ok so ive been popular for sooo long, people love me, im nice to everyone and im also known as a fake. Ive been spoiled as a kid and ive had my hair done every day, makeup done, clothes latest in style and everyone expects me to be "miss perfect, gorgeous, gets what she wants" and my friends are the same way but i think they dont really like ME they like the RICH ME. And I like my life because I think its been great but now, my parents have a sudden drop in buusiness and we no longer have the money we once had, as my dad says we're goin through a depression and im happy. Because im DONE with it but, if i do stop ill loose everything and its like people wont let me stop they expect the greatest and if they dont get it itll be questions non stop. Help me!!! PLEASE

just keep on smiling and being nice- if people stop liking you because you don't have much money anymore they were never friends. and that means its no big deal to lose them!

sounds like a sad case. I think that you should transform!!! YES you should be down to earth but i assume that that will be sort of impossible for you because it was engraved into your mind that you can what ever you want whenever you want it. I think that you should (get a job and) just be yourself. Your friends, if real, should like you for who you are; millionaire or homeless. Well good luck.

sweetheart, there is more to life than having alot of money.

use your popularity to TEACH people that you don't need alot money to be great. Teach them to stop being so shallow, throw out the expensive clothes and makeup, and donate their money to charity. Teach them to help others less fortunate.

People makes clothes, clothes don't make people.

Maybe you can show them there is more to life than all the material things they worry about everyday.

Hears what I want you to think about. You said people won't let you stop? Life is to short, if you died tommorrow would your friends care what you look like? What kind of suite or whatever you'd be wearing in your casket? Re-evaluate your so called friends. And go to a homeless shelter and look at the kids your age. And tell me your life needs help!

There are always girls at school who will like you whether you're rich or not. If your present friends seem only to be friends with you on account of your wealth then they aren't worth fretting over.

Really, people will love you without the expensive materialistic cover up.

you sound young but smart to notice this now. most don't notice their in a rat race competition with the world until their much older. since you've noticed this, you will slowly wean yourself away from negative people and into your own individualized way of thinking and living. you'll be a better person after it's all said and done.
