Best Vaccum cleaner?

I have 3 dogs and a cat (not to mention my kids and husband) and alote of their hair everyday along with dust. I am currently looking for a new Vaccum cleaner and want to get one that will last for while and do some awesome cleaning like dusting at the same time. Any suggestions?

If you have the cash, a Dyson is the way to go! I was skeptical at first but I have to say it is the best vacuum I have ever had. I have two cats and it really sucks up the hair! As a bonus there are no filters to buy. Make sure you get the Dyson Animal, it has a special attachment to get the hair off couches, etc. They retail for about $599 but I bought mine refurbished from Amazon.com for around $400 Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/Factory-Reconditio...

Also since the holidays are coming there might be some great deals around. Goodluck!

Rainbow ..... it is more expensive but it does a great job and lasts forever

Personally, I like SEBO. It costs about $600.00-but well worth it. Better than Kirby. By far. Take care.

It's a big Kirby for me. A Kirby will pull/suck up "stuff" 2-3 inches from where the vacuum head is setting.

Expensive-yes-I got mine for $1200 %26amp; haggled to get that. I was using a $200 hoover less than a yr old. After I watched a demo of the machine in my home I was blown away because I had cleaned house all day %26amp; I vacuum my upholstered furniture when I clean house. a clear see thru attachment is used that you can watch the dirt %26amp; dust come out of where they are vacuuming...I made sure I got the vacuum the guy used (opened a new box w/KIrby in it). I wanted the Kirby this guy used %26amp; that is the one a person is presented when they buy one.

You can buy these online from sites like craigslist %26amp; other places people sell their used things.

When you buy a new Kirby, it has a serial number, etched in like the vin # on our car. Should something happen to it,%26amp; you are still the original owner, Kirby will rebuild it to new condition for 10% of what you paid for it. Mine is a "G 2000 Limited Edition",never had to be serviced as of yet! It comes with many attachments that can be run over by a car %26amp; will not break, a componet of the motor was designed by an engineer to use w/NASA on the space trips %26amp; no-one would by the patent--so Warren Buffet owns this Kirby vacuum company %26amp; he bought the patent %26amp; it's used in the technology of this vacuum cleaner

I also have in a separate box an attachment that is a dry carpet shampooer %26amp; it dispenses the suds/foam into the carpet %26amp; it sets for a bit then is vacuumed separately into a tray like thing thats attached to the vacuum. Also this machine can unstop drains,be used as a blower (blow up air type things),I could go on %26amp; on. This machine is called a home maintence system %26amp; believe me it is, it even has a tiny attachment to vacuum your computer keyboard. Mine is 7 years old %26amp; I wouldn't trade it even for a newer model. Also attachments to buff hardwood floors, under furniture, ceiling fans, vacuum flat floor surfaces %26amp; the uses goes on.Especially great to vacuum those dreaded bed mites (from mattresses/bedding foundations) we read about in the news.

When this machine was demonstrated in my home-I knew I couldn't afford it....I'm certainly not a thief but I knew I was gonna have this vacuum cleaner if I had to steal it!!! But I didn't have to "steal it". It was financed for me right there in my home as I eagerly waited %26amp; the man left this wonderful machine w/me.

I live in a small rural area, but I sure would be selling these if I lived in a bigger town.Sold in home demos' only-not on the shelf of a store.

Get a Kirby--even if only a used one

Dyson Animal, there are many different kinds of dyson but this one is for animals. i have two cats, and two dogs and it works great. we have had it for 3 or 4 years so far. Until recently a new dog that we had chewed the end of the cord. The good thing about dyson is that you can repair that for nothing. I love my Dyson!!!!!!!!!
