Court Ordered Drug Testing in Pennsylvania?

Here is the situation...I have some strong suspicions that my husband's ex is abusing drugs (specifically Cocaine). My step-son found cocaine in her room with a straw and a razor blade. He took a picture of the drugs which I have. Numerous people have also told us she is on drugs. My step-son was extremely upset and asked how we could prove she was on drugs, I told him to get hair from her hairbrush and I sent it away to be tested. It that illegal? Admissable in Court? Will the courts order her to have a hair follicle test done? The kids have been extremely mentally abused by their mother's sister over the whole situation....What do we do?

You are the step parent and over stepping your boundaries

It seems very suspicious to me that your doing all this behind her back,

Why not just go to the courts?

Do it all legally?

You want to steal the kids from her, and you don't want her to get better.

And By involving the kids, YOU are abusing them,

Don't you see that this is something you should do confidentially, don't you think it would have been better to speak woman to woman and not having her own Child be the Detective, and then whent he family gets broken up he will feel responsible and guilty for ruining his once happy family.

You can pretend all you want that this is something your doing for the betterment of the kids, but in reality this is what is best for YOU,

the poor woman is down and out, and you want to stick the knife in.

as far as photos, taken by a kid, NO, how do they know what is in the bag, it could be sugar.

and how do they know its really her hair, or not from 10 years ago.

So what your doing is pointless and useless, and only hurting the kids worse because their step mother, instead of being supportive and offering a real solution is Abusing her step children by inferring their mother is on drugs,

WITHOUT the facts,

AND instead of offering a HAND UP to their mother to try and get her OFF the drugs, OR make the family happy by helping out in other ways,

YOUR trying to control the situation so the outcome works in your FAVOR and NOT in the best intrest of those kids.

---------FYI even if she is using either as an addict or recreationally,

She will clean up, and she will get her kids back, and YOU will be on the hated end of the stick,

This might be the straw that breaks your husband back...
